Healthy snacks made easy

This guacamole recipe is so quick and easy to make and makes use of your old avocado's!

Serves 4

Preparation time 15 minutes

No cooking required


Ingredients:


1 avocado mashed

4 organic cherry tomatoes, finely chopped

1/4 cup spanish onion, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

dash of extra virgin olive oil

1/2 lemon or lime juice

a few sprigs of fresh corrinader (optional) finely chopped

Finely chopped red chilli (optional) finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon good quality salt


Such an easy one, just smash the avocado and combine all the other ingredients in a bowl. You can also modify this recipe by adding some finely chopped red capsicum to give it some more texture. Serve with organic corn chips or your own homemade chips!

This not only makes a great snack but also makes a great pre starter dish to any dinner party. I always find that I have an avocado that is just getting a bit too ripe to puty in a salad and this is a good way of putting it to good use. This dish oozes goodness with avocados having a high omega 3 content!
